  1. Install Teamviewer On Mac
  2. Command Key On Dell

Apr 18, 2012  (Haven't tried as I never use the Fn keys on my Mac to control the Mac, I only use the 'normal' action like dim/brighten screen, volume up/down/mute, etc.). I just tried Fn-F1 on the Teamview window for a PC and got the Help and Support Center window on the remote unit, so I guess mine is working to send function keys to the remote (controll-ed. At least five keys have different names or symbols on a Windows keyboard than they do on a Mac keyboard, which can make it difficult to follow Mac-related instructions. For example, a software manual may tell you to hold down the command key ( ⌘ ), which appears to be missing from your Windows keyboard. Jul 15, 2005 Hi, is there a way to emulate the function keys F1-F12 in remote desktop? I'm running a program on my remote computer (win xp) that uses F9 as a shortcut, however when I press F9 expose still activates. Are there any keypresses that i can assign to emulate the F9 key?

To use a keyboard shortcut, press and hold one or more modifier keys and then press the last key of the shortcut. For example, to use Command-C (copy), press and hold the Command key, then the C key, then release both keys. Mac menus and keyboards often use symbols for certain keys, including modifier keys:

On keyboards made for Windows PCs, use the Alt key instead of Option, and the Windows logo key instead of Command.

Some keys on some Apple keyboards have special symbols and functions, such as for display brightness , keyboard brightness , Mission Control, and more. If these functions aren't available on your keyboard, you might be able to reproduce some of them by creating your own keyboard shortcuts. To use these keys as F1, F2, F3, or other standard function keys, combine them with the Fn key.
